Bio-Curcumin Advanced® with BCM95® contains a standardised extract of Boswellia serrata containing a rich supply of AKBA and other beneficial boswellic acids but minimal β-boswellic acids. AKBA (or 3-Acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid) has been shown to be the most potent anti-inflammatory component of Boswellia, whereas β-boswellic acids may exacerbate or compound the effects of pro-inflammatory enzymes. It therefore makes sense to consider supplementation rich in AKBA which is free from β-boswellic acids for the purpose of reducing pain and inflammation. BCM-95 (Curcumin longa) 25:1 extract [std. to 95% total curcuminoid complex with essential oils of turmeric (250mg)]
AKBAMAX Boswellia extract [45% boswellic acids (HPLC) and 10% AKBA (250mg)]
Other Ingredients: Organic NU-RICE in a clear vegetable capsule
Dose:
Adults and children over 12yrs: for the first 3 days, take 2 capsules twice daily with food; thereafter take 1 to 2 capsules twice daily with food as required.
Caution: If you are taking taking anti-coagulants or anti-platelet medications, are pregnant or have a bleeding disorder, or any other medical condition consult your healthcare provider before taking Bio-Curcumin.
