Monterrey Wigglesworth Pharmacist/Owner
Hello, I'm Monterrey Wigglesworth. Kiwis like to call me Monty. I'm a Canadian, but have lived in Torbay since 1999. I actually relicensed as a New Zealand pharmacist right here in Browns Bay, having studied and started my career in Vancouver. I have always been interested in the biology of being well or unwell and all the ways we can help live healthier happy lives. I've done a lot of further study in nutritional medicine. I love to meet people and find out what they think is going on, as we discuss options. The opportunity to start a pharmacy in Bays Health, alongside Browns Bay Medical Centre and other great tenants is just incredible. We have a gorgeous space and such a cool team to work with. My husband Bill and I have two kids, Isla and Jed and we really appreciate the community and surroundings we live in. Here is where you'll find me for many many years to come, so pop in and say hi.
Lina Shasha Pharmacist
Lina completed her Bachelors of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland in 2012. After registering as a pharmacist in 2013, she went on to work as a locum pharmacist. This exposed her to a variety of challenges around the Auckland area, as she worked alongside many different pharmacists and doctors.
Lina is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society and strives to always keep up to date. She enjoys the diversity in her role as a pharmacist and finds it very rewarding. Most recently Lina worked part-time at Barry’s Medical Centre Pharmacy (April 2014 – July 2018). Lina will be relocating with Browns Bay Medical Centre to join the team at Bay’s Health Pharmacy.
She looks forward to providing a continuity in care to all patients at Browns Bay Medical Centre, and warmly welcomes any new patients who wish to come to Bays Health Pharmacy.
Amanda Boyle Pharmacist
Kia ora my name is Amanda. I was born and raised on the North Shore. I studied Pharmacy at Auckland University and have worked as a pharmacist in community pharmacies on the North Shore ever since.
I love working with people to help them to get the best from their medicines as well as providing advice and working towards positive health outcomes together. Outside of Pharmacy you will find me in or on the water enjoying our beautiful Hauraki Gulf with my husband and two young boys. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know the wider East Coast Bays community.
Elaine Leong Pharmacist
Elaine is married with two children and grew up around the East Coast Bays. She attended Rangitoto College before completing her degree in pharmaceuticals in 1997 at The University of Otago. Elaine is passionate about providing you and your family with the best care and advice.
Hello, my name is Yuna and I have worked as a pharmacy technician for 7 years in the North Shore. I recently joined this fabulous team and it is always great to meet our friendly customers.
I have lived in the North Shore for 14 years with my husband and two children and Browns bay beach is one of my favourite places to enjoy a cup of coffee.
I feel very lucky to be part of this wonderful team and I look forward to meeting you in the pharmacy!
